Such a shame when these boys are let go after many years and drift into non league football and fall out of love with the game.... We get players on loan from Luton who are nowhere near good enough because they haven't played against 'men' before and can't make the step up. We played Arsenal u18/21s in a pre season friendly last season and they absolutely slaughtered us with their one touch football and little triangles etc ....we beat them 2-0 because they couldn't compete with playing against adults etc. How long does a pro club keep them for though? At the end of the day the pro club only needs one player out of the 20 odd to come through and be sold....

I'd go with that Enoch apart from 3.... I'd sell Struijk as don't think he's quite up to the Prem and wouldn't fancy a partnership of him and Rodon. If we'd get 20m for Struijk then that keeps us in line with PPI with more to spend as I think he'd be classed as a homegrown player due to being in our u21s etc(?) Rodon would be good with a proven CB like Berladi or Elvidi....who aren't proven to totally contradict myself! I love Rothwell but there's no sell on fee for him at his age unless we can get him for no more than 5m.... would rather get Wiegle for roughly the same. I actually think Gruev will be better in the Prem than the championship as his passing will be more suited. If he just keeps us ticking over with 5/10yd passes playing keepball, then the opposition can't score without the ball....we will have far less of it next season and need to make the most of it when we do have it and can't just rely on the swift counter attack.

VAR just took over 6mins to make a decision in the Wet Spam game.... we've got this to look forward to next season!! I can GUARANTEE refs will be a thing of the past in years to come and the game will be officiated by robots upstairs with a big whistle in the stadium and on screens.... it's akin to going in to your local supermarket and having to scan your own shopping to pay for it without any human contact. In 100yrs nobody will have a job and we'll be run by the government/state....

So it's no different than when we played 30/40 years ago....just fanciful new words and phrases of doing the same thing. It all came down to "in other words the defence needs clear instructions and each player needs to know their role"! 😱🤔😜🙈🤣 Did our players NOT know their role while hitting 100pts!? This isn't against my fellow Leeds fan, Daniel, but against anyone in football spouting bullshiit just to make themselves sound better, without knowing fk all, having played for the reserve team in Division 29 for the Dog and Duck FC.... It's like a gay version of Countdown where coaches and opposition coaches salivate and drool and get erections whilst listening to each others new words and phrases without actually playing the game themselves....

I'd agree and "like" if I could understand what this post fkn means! WTF has happened to football today!? These new phrases are just different ways of saying in old school that a striker has closed down = "high press" or "low press" is just sitting a bit deeper when the opposition are having a good spell! I'm just surprised the words "bounce" and "transition" weren't in there....all we heard from the boy's coaches and opposition to sound like they know what they are on about. Listened to a great interview with Dean Saunders today who said these new words were only invented in football to confuse managers who didn't know what they meant so they hired these coaches and then in turn used these phrases to convince chairmen to keep them!!

Tsimikas now being linked to us and would be a great signing.... Only problem with that is if Firpo goes, we need to spend 15-20m on him....if Firpo stays, we don't have to spend any money for that position. Same as Solomon and we think he's our player but another 15m has to be spent on him! Who'd have thought that spending 100m budget on potential signings would be great when it'll be fkn hard and maybe not enough!

Yeah 40m is far too much for Kelleher.... We could go leftfield and get Kaminski from my hometown club Luton who is leaving.... we'd probably get him for about 3m and he played in the Prem last season and looked quality. That would save 30 odd mill to put towards a proven striker....

I actually liked Nunez but Ekuban was obviously crap! Guessard looked very decent in the air but seems to assist more than he scores....we need a striker who will score a minimum of 15 to keep us from relegation. He also tried to nutmeg every player in his own half and we can't afford to let him lose the ball there! Very decent at running at players though....

If Kalvin did come back I'd play him as sweeper in the middle of a back 3....

This is my team for next season with the players we've been strongly linked to on the ever reliable LeedsNewsNow.... Sell Struijk, Wober, Aaronson and Meslier for 50m.... Release Guilavogui and Bamford.... Get Harrison back as won't cost us anything and turn him into a fkn LB! Unfortunately send Rothwell back as no resale value.... Joseph, Chambers and Debayo to go on loan.... Kelleher Rodon Balerdi Elvidi Bogle Wiegle Firpo James McAtee Solomon Maeda Subs: Darlow Koufal Byram Ampadu Harrison Tanaka Gnonto Ramazani Piroe 3/4 more are needed on loan for squad places. My subs to be rotated and rested and I know Ampadu will get me some stick ... and Struijk. I know you'll all agree with me and this team will get us to mid table and pushing for Europe.... It's fkn hard only having 100m to spend!!

He sounds good and I'd take him without knowing anything about him....he's cheaper than Kelleher and I'd rather have the extra 15 odd million spent on a 20 goals striker to alleviate relegation straight away! I'd keep Darlow as back up I did say he was quality and he's really steadied us....we don't have to panic as much as when Plug from the Bash Street Kids was facing a set piece

Goals are the main thing to get us points but I wouldn't fancy any of those names....maybe Ferguson as back up but that's fkn expensive back up!! He hasn't done anything after his initial few months and only has potential....we need a proven goalscorer. Sargent may be a better and cheaper gamble as back up.... I fear a cheap foreign striker will be bought in who will either score goals to push us to mid table dreaming of Europe or leave us battling relegation! A new Hasselbaink firing in his first season is difficult to find....

I was also at the Norwich game the week after we'd won the title....Rod Wallace scored in a 1-0 win? I remember I had a spare ticket and sold it to a fan outside The Peacock for face value....I could have charged a fkn fortune but was young and naïve! I'm glad I did though as that fellow fan is probably still telling the story now about how lucky he was meeting a fkn idiot with a ticket that he'd have paid 10x as much for! I then stayed the night in Leeds celebrating, and drove back darn sarth on Sunday lunchtime instead of staying for the parade....fkn knows why !! I remember getting home watching the news bulletins on BBC and ITV and wondering why I had driven home instead of staying to watch the parade!! 🤔😱🙈🤣😭

I was thinking that Guy and will the stadium be big enough as other clubs will increase attendance.... is it only the South Stand that's not as high as the other 3 stands? Surely that could get another few thousand on top but may have something to do with the road outside? Small steps needed I suppose and best to consolidate ourselves first as a mid table team before Uncle Ken buys us and takes us into League One....

Haha Mouseman and a question me and the boy and mates have asked.... There's only 2yrs between me and my brother, and we're best mates, but he hates football and always has. When we were growing up I hardly ever saw him apart from holidays and family dinners etc as we just liked and did different things.... Thank fk I like football because he came out as gay at 18!! 🙈🤣🙈🤣
