My comments on this game was simply Farke was out managed in this game. It had nothing to do with him for the whole season nor future games but just this one game. The simply fact was it happened. Was Tanaka off his game or was the opposition set up to stop him from playing? Was Solomon, James, Firpo and Bogle given space to operate? No, again the opposition had a game plan to stop them. We're Struijk and Rondon allowed time to play their forward passes? No the opposition again were placed in positions to stop them from playing. This is not players fault not even Farke's to certain extent but clear fact the opposition manager had a game plan that counters Farke. Hence the statement about being out managed. Do l like Farke as a manager? Well not particularly but I do respect his work with us.

Both all game snatched at every chance for shot when normally they would create or at least try to in the same situation during previous games. Also, notice that both Piroe and Tanaka seemed the exact opposite when both had zero couple of open chances just outside the box. Monterio just needs games and not youth games but actually mens games. In about 15 months of mens football, he will be a good player. It is same for Chadwick (who is only 17 - CM or DCM or AM) lapour-White, and Cresswell. When we signed him he should have been left at his previous club on loan as he had just broken into their first team squad but we stuck him in our youth team set up and he did not get consistent game time. Hence a pause on his development.

For the most part i agreed with the starting side but for Ampadu playing CB whe he could have just played CM and let Debayo play CB. Also Chambers out wide instead of his AM position he is used to playing.

When you CB is trying to play as a midfielder and holding the ball to long because the midfielder infront of him is trying to just get up to game speed ensures easy turn overs. When your striker is goal rusty because he has been asked to run around all over the place to defend That he can not get to his actual position then he will never score. When you manager has watched 45 minutes of something not working and the does nothing to change it then you will not change. Today was like a example of not doing the right thing. If you watch him in the attacking areas, he has quick passes, good through balls, nice movement into space and a good shot. He always seems to come alive in advanced positions. The other reason our windows are not overly active is because players we look at demand big wages to come here as they believe our 'big club status ' can afford it when really we can not which in-turn sees the deals fizzle out.

20 years old and is only at the start of his real career. When he signed for us he believed he had made it (coaches said he lost that drive) and only over the past 6 months has he discovered that hard work is required to stay a professional. Good luck to the lad as he has the talent.
