Okay short and sweet. The guy has played 15 matches for us and in those games he has attempted 396 passes with 369 of them being successful. He has attempted 56 one on one defensive duels with him winning 31 of them. He is a extremdy player.

Do we think Farke does not trust the young players in the Leeds united squad? My reason is as followeds. Dremah played at left back. 1 terrible mistake other no worse then other. Sent on loan. Hjelde played at left back. Not good but not bad either and no worse then others. Never seen again ( hopefully in the cup). Gyabi and Bates. Preseason okay but then never seen again. Cresswell played even if not better the Cooper but asked certain question of Farke behind closed doors and no seen since. Gelthardt and Joseph cameo in junk time and played no worse then Bamford but rarely now seen. Before other say Archie Gray as a example. I put this to you. Does his family name not open doors that other of the above youth will not get to see opened? Personal I also follow Gladbach and last season he did the same thing. Basically isolated certain player after run minor mista,e or disagreement including minimal youth of players under the age of 23. Here's hoping he proves me wrong and uses them in the cup game.

Date: 26.12.2023 Day: Tuesday Time: 11:30 p.m. (Australia time) Venue: Deepwater Played: 61 games Leeds won: 22 Preston won: 25 Draw: 14 Last 5 game form Leeds united: W, W, L, D W Preston: D, W, L, L ? Unfortunately due to being 7 double jack and nothing in the last 50 minutes I have little more to write at this stage. Update to place some time other the 3am in the more. Sh1t, o nly got little whisky left. Umm. Rest to be completed later... Alright we continue... Traditionally over the years they just like playing a game where is it requires old school grit, blue collared work to get a win. The games generally see us not being able to stamp our style and we are made to work hard. Think on a good day they can really push us this season, no in the skill or trickery or even pace but in keeping the game workmen like and creating unexpected chances.

Day: Saturday Date: 23.12.2023 Time: 12:30 p.m. Venue: Elland Road Leeds Form: D, W, W, W, L, D Ipswich Form: L, W, W, W, W, D Leeds most dangerous player: Summerville & Rutter Ipswich most dangerous player: Conor Chaplin & Nathan Broadhead + Leif Davis Head to head: 83 matches, Leeds won 34, Ipswich won 29 & draws are 21. This is a game where we can not afford to concede fouls around the box or corners as ipswich has at least 5 players that are dangerous at set pieces. The Ipswich midfielder are probably the most dangerous in the league with 26 goals coming from this position. Both left back and right back are equally dangerous as they create and average of 6 chances a game from crosses. They have mobile giant at CB (6'4 - plays like he still playing AFL in Australia). The side is organised and very team oriented. This game is the make or break for both of us as we can close the gap with a win also push pressure on them as they have league leaders straight after us. Meanwhile a less for us will see Southampton possibly jump us on the table. Possible Starting Side: Meslier ArchieG, Rondon, Struijk, Spence Ampadu, Kamara James, Summerville Pireo Rutter I wrote the line-up this way to reflex on how narrwe play.

So this is my first attempt at a match day thread. As all know I have my own opinions on our club which tend to cause some debates as they are not in line with the many but since this the case I think I will style it my own way to match my thinking. This will be the first game after a midweek person where we as a club failed to play to our squads strength, which in-turn caused us to be impudent in front of goals and frankly looked like a bottom championship side attacking wise. Let's hope that Farke has seen the light and tweaked the side a little. We are coming up against a side who are struggling to find their identity this season since the loss of the 2 players who have carried them attacking wise for 30 month. On their day they can be dangerous as they have that old school hit and hope style which suddenly switches to a nice fast ball movement style and then back again at the drop of a hat. Our record against Coventry over the past 4 matches. Leeds 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss. T(http://loss.Total)otal (http://loss.Total)of 11 goals scored: 6 goal by Leeds and 5 by Coventry We are averaging 2.1 goal per home game and conceding 0.90 goals per home game. Meanwhile Coventry scored 1.40 away goal per average and are conceding 1.6 away. Coventry normally score 80% of their goal in first 20 minutes and 20% in the last 15 minutes. Farkes side most likely. Meslier ArchieG, Rondon, Struijk, Spence Ampadu, Kamara James, Piroe, Summerville Rutter My preferred side. Klaesson Cresswell, Rondon, Struijk Gnonto , Ampadu, ArchieG, Kamara, Summerville Rutter, Pireo For us to truly be successful we need to stop pressing the goal keeper and start our press only once Coventry get the ball to the halfway mark allow us to have smaller area to press and more time to truly organise our defensive structure. Both Rutter and Pireo need to occupy the convetry 2 CB's thus allowing Gnonto and Summerville plenty of 1 on 1 chances against the 2 FB. Also attack early from the touchline allowing space for ArchieG to operate in the middle of the park. Well I am going for a 3 goals to 1 win as long as we play in White.

So Jackson is out here in Australia managing the ALeague side Central Coast Mariners. This past fortnight he implemented Biesla's Murder ball into his training sessions and then followed it up with their day off from ball work with sand dune sprints. You could imagine Biesla sitting back smiling if he heard this.

So the tintenet rumours stating leeds are looking at the contract situation for a few players that are on expiring deals or on deals that need lengthening to ensure that they do not get poached by other club as they on shorter deals. So with this in mind do you think Ayling, Cooper, Dallas need new deals? Do you think Joseph, ArchieG, Gyabi, and Bates need longer deals?

So I wanted to start a topic to discuss what we the fans think we need next for our squad and or club in general. I will start this off. 1. Players: Think we need to find a few players who are playing week in week out that are 19 to 21 years old who we can buy but leave playing at their clubs for the next 24 months. We need to rid ourselves of some players and replace them with a few new ones. I like to see the completion of the squad overhaul that has rid us of all previous squad members who played in the Championship with us. 2. Club training facilities: like to see a new complete training facility being built. We once had the best of the very best in training facilities and technology but have seen nothing change bar Biesla small changes for our youth and squads. The new training ground has to have a micro game stadium for our preseason games and our youth games, updated gym and medical facilities and a small hotel for visiting youth teams to stay at (we charge them of course). 3. Update at least 1 section of the stadium. Choice area would be the somewhere we can add more seats but also cooperate boxes and better media/tv broadcasting options. 4. Buy a small club in either Denmark or Scotland which we use as a farm system to develop our better younger player who are between 19 and 22. Think where Gyabi, Cresswell, Bates, Hjelde, Joseph, Gelthardt, McGurk, Klaesson all see 90 minutes of senior football against men with regularity. It also means we can start to scout south America and Africa correctly and have a place where it is slightly easier to get them visas to play. 5. Hold regular under 18's tournaments inviting youth clubs from around the world to participate and get it sponsored by our kit sponsors. We boardcaste these back to the youth teams country to help build our club profile among them for future new fans. That is my start. What are others thoughts and comments.

For years we have been crying out for real midfielders to galvanise our team and feed our talented wide players. We thought that we had decent ones last season in Roca ( who I said was a poor man's Paul Okon when we signed him - how true) and Adams (who I said was a excellent destroyer but lacked a passing game when we signed him - how true) only to fi d they were limited in their abilities and ended up leaving our squad in a dire position. This year we brought in Ampadu, Kamara and iliv (or how ever you spell it). If we compare last seasons midfielders to this seasons I believe we have gotten 3 more rounded players for a combined price cheaper the one from last seasons. This year's midfielders seem to a have far more rounded skill sets compared to last seasons and also seem to fit our club better. It is early days yet but who do you think are the better out of the the 2 season signings? Scary point to consider is that Charlie Crewe who 17, Ma McFadden who is 17, Conner Douglas who is 17, Rhys Chadwick-Chaplin who is 16, Josh McDonal who is 16, Charlie Allen who is 19 plus the 2 15 years olds who are coming through are showing skills and game play that is similar to what ArchieG is currently showing in the first team. Dare I say the Biesla blue print for our youth team players that was put forward 4 years ago in the club academy is starting to sprout? Thought comments?.?

We the fans have been questioning what the hell happened during the half time at Crystal Palace game and for ever there have been murmurs of this and that happened. So the rumours that are starting to come out are a member of the team who is still at the club has told certain loaned out players that they are embarrassing the jersey. The players then retorted with some comments about we are still performing at higher level then you. Apparently those same players who are still here would not listen to Gacia as they would walk onto the field telling the other not to bother about what the manager said which caused further divisions. Murmur came from 2 different sources in Germany. 2 different clubs. I take it as pure horse sh1t but make you wonder...

The interesting question we have going in to October, November and December will be if the Daniel Farke system of play that allows the fullbacks the licence to drive forward down to the by-line and cross the ball in or cut inside the wide forwards to provide that extra body in the box suit the only true senior left back at the club. Technically Firpo style off football actually well suit to this Farkes game tactics. Since joining us Firpo while being somewhat uncoordinated in defending one on one he did show great motor in both getting forward and also getting back. If we strictly look at his movements on the attacking end and some of the balls he did put in (no striker there) then he is the right left back for the system. If we can first get him fit and then get his confidence up I believe we have the right man to shine in the Championship. Look at this from a non Leeds united fan view point. Actually analysing his movements, crossing and attacking positioning and you will be surprised. Defence body shape is his issue but not his actual desire or attitude. Thoughts and comments?

Can not post it but Adams does a interview and just went up on YouTube. Interesting little thing which allows people to see what Adams is like.

It is going to be near impossible for a lot of fans from all over the world to watch live games of our club this season. For the past 10 days I have been searching for how to watch and it is going to be near impossible. The league rights to games viewing in Foreign countries is extremely poor and in some locations exclusive to platforms which only show 1 game a week. This season is going to be like it was in the early 2000's when news papers and dodgy internet articles is the only way to follow.

So the question for next season is whether we go young and exciting or old and frustrating for our season in the Championship. There has already been fan chatter saying that we need to have Cooper (great squad man but not a starter), Ayling (Mr mediocrity on his best day), Dallas (injury ended him) Bamford (makes barndoor Billy Paytner look polific) and Forshaw (great on the ball but zero positional awareness causing midfield holes) as our main stays as they a "good fellows" and have done it before. Forgotten are their terrible performances prior to Biesla recreating them into real footballers. Do we base our team on them or do we base it on Cresswell (comfortable at Championship level), Hjelda (comfortable at Championship level), Gyabi ( ready to step up), Perkins (ready to step up), Gray (Mancity and Liverpool interest), and Joseph (rumours that lower table Spanish clubs think he could start now for them). For me it is the younger team with a few older heads to help them and not the good old boys. It needs a new direction with a young manager to grow with the boys. I like the following side: Klasion Cresswell, Striujk, Hjelda, Gyabi, Wober, Summerville, Gray, Gnonto Perkins, Joseph

Under Beilsa we were fit and could out run any other team. Under Jesse Marsh we always look under done and under Garcia we looked like league 2 fit levels. Story doing the rounds that Big Sam was shocked at the players levels of fitness and training standards. Could one of the problems be our players are just not fit enough for the EPL? We know Bamford's body (i say weak willed mind) only allows him to partially complete training sessions. We know Forshaw has been out alot due to injury. We know Cooper due to injury hadn't trained much. We know Rutter had not played a game in almost 20 weeks when he got to us. We know Struijk, Firpo and Kristensen all had a couple of soft tissue injuries. Gnonto has had knee soreness, Summerville has had ankle injury. Sinesterra has been injured since Australia. Ayling had injuries in the early season. Rodrigo has been injured. Adams is injured. Roca first season of football in 3 years due to being glued to bench in Germany. That leaves Harrison, Koch and Aaronson who have been available to constantly train. Could this be the reason they seem to resemble League 2 footballers? Surely the 49ERS need to do a immediate review of our sports science department.

After watching every game from last night and mid weeks games of all teams, i have come to the conclusion that over all our squad is on par with 90% of the other squads. The problem seems to lie in game plans, tactics and fundamental excursions, plus the inability to do basic footballing plays (positioning, trap, pass, move and head). Major mistakes are not being held accountable by punishments (fines or dropping from game day squad). Now while squad has the cattle, there is zero balance and partnership coercion. Example of this. Partnership was Gelthardt and Greenwood playing as a front pairing for u21 but then playing spot minutes in first team as individuals out of position. CB's or CM's not having a paring that understanding. Someone needs to tie a 8m rope around the waist of our CB's and have them learn to move together. The same with the CM's. Every player needs to put on a pole on the left and right shoulders that is 1m and have them close down space drills which has them learn to position their body's to cut of both passings lanes and attacking angle. They learn how to be close enough to pressure but also far enough away not to be beaten easily (eample beings Ayling, Roca, Aaronson, Firpo). Pressure and pressing is best when angles and space is both restricted and not by being touch tight. Again, do the basics and our squad is on par with others and in cases better.

Sothe quesgion need to to be zsk zbout the season performances from the clubs supposedly number 1 keeper. Has he been good enough, has he improved or is he regressing in his development? Is it becauze we do not have strong goalkeeping coach or was he just not our best young keeper at the club? Personally, i believe Meliser was not our best goalkeeper atthe club going into last summer. I said at the time that I believed Elia Caprile was the better talent and had the better ceiling but since he was not a favorite in the eyes of some people he was moved on. Was Kristoffer Klaesson as good as Illan in the summer? We do not know has he never gets to play. Now this season. Why has Robles and Klaesson no been given a chance especially with Meslier struggling so badly? What do others think?

So watching back Luck Ayling over the past 15 month and I have come to the conclusion that Ayling is not a Right Fullback anymore and going forward should be used in a more advanced position. His instincts for attack seem to be far sharper then his will and disire to defend. I think this is because after a period of Bielsa indoctrination of man marking closing down style he has lost that patients and art of shadowing/jocking the player. Also his spacial awareness is not there. Going forward i would like to see him play as a right winger as it would suit his current abilities. A 4-4-2 formation with him on the right, Harrison on the left, Adams and Aaronson in the middle with Bamford and Sinesterra upfront. Koch and Struijk as central centre backs and Kristensen and Dremah (i know he is a right back but surely he would be decent leftback) as fullbacks. Also going forward Gelthardt & Greenwood should be paired up front and Summerville right wing 30 minutes a game. Thoughts? Comment?
